Funko Pop! Vinyl Summoners War Toys Now Available
Funko, a leading pop culture products company, has released a new line of Summoners War toys and action figures featuring the Pop! Vinyl style. In addition to apparel, accessories, and digital products, the company has “reimagined” the Summoners War universe and characters by integrating its Pop! collectable figures.
According to Com2us, Funko is offering the toys and other products across its online channels, mobile app, and various third-party platforms.
Headquartered in Everett, Washington, Funko sources, designs, and distributes licensed pop culture products including vinyl figures, action toys, apparel, accessories, housewares, and plush for consumers who want to “connect with” their favorite pop culture characters and brands.
Casey Lee, CEO of Com2us USA, said, “We are thrilled to be the first South Korean gaming company to team up with Funko and see their take on Summoners War’s iconic characters. As Com2us continues its robust venture into merchandise licensing and entertainment media, we want to ensure the Summoners War brand is in the hands of creative minds that are at the vanguard of shaping trends and setting standards. Funko is a leader in the collectible space, so we are confident that this agreement will greatly enhance our licensing portfolio.”
The Funco agreement followed the announcement of an agreement with Skybound Entertainment and Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead television series. Com2us explained its collaboration efforts as a way to “expand the Summoners War brand into new entertainment verticals.”
Andrew Perlmutter, President of Funko, said of the move, “We strive to license every pop culture property that we believe is relevant to today’s consumer and are thrilled to add this global top ten grossing mobile game to our roster. As we continue to expand our broad offering of licensed pop culture consumer products, we believe Funko and mobile gaming fans alike will love our distinct and whimsical take on the Summoners War universe and their rich characters.”
